Obverse with bust of George IV, reverse showing the King enthroned, being crowned by Victory. The official coronation issue. This type is a close copy of the medal by Pistrucci, produced by E.Avern. Examples in silver were worn by the Buckinghamshire Yeomanry Coronation Horse, which formed the Royal Escort at the ceremony. Edge inscribed 'Thos Broughton, 2nd Regt B.Y.C.H'.
Pierced for suspension. Various small surface marks otherwise toned Good Very Fine and housed in fitted red leather case of issue. Rare.
