Good Extremely Fine with very attractive toning. Housed in fitted case of issue.
This medal was awarded in Scotland at Montrose Academy from which Burnes' brother graduated. The medal was presented to the best scholar in the academy by the Masons of Western India in honour of Dr Burnes. Also listed within our inventory is another Montrose Academy medal awarded to the same recipient.
