Each 58mm. Silvered bronze, gilt bronze and bronze.

Set of 3 unnamed and unissued trial medals for the 1970 Commonwealth Games winners medals. Obverse with rampant lion and national emblems around, reverse with view of Edinburgh castle. Bronze medal with rampant lion and national emblems around.

The 3 medals are mounted on a card frame, on which is embossed 'Designed by Richard Bonehill - 1969'. The 'silver' and 'gold' medals are loose and are both mounted on blue suspension ribbons, whereas the bronze medal has been glue moutned to the card. Good Extremely Fine and presumably a set of trial medals intended to be either given to, or given by, the designer of the medal.
