Obverse with a rather magnificent portrait of Elizabeth I in highly detailed dress. The design relates to the 1591 grant by Queen Elizabeth I to erect a college at Dublin, the founding of Trinity. Awarded in 1915 to Geraldine Fitzgerald.
Once held on a suspension loop which has since been expertly removed, leaving a tiny trace to the top edge, otherwise Extremely Fine and a most impressive prize medal.
