Obverse with a rather magnificent portrait of Elizabeth I in detailed dress. The design relates to the 1591 grant by Queen Elizabeth I to erect a college at Dublin, the founding of Trinity. Reverse named to Arthur Altham Dawson, 1854.
Good Very Fine and scarce.
Arthur Altham Dawson (later reverend) appears to have been born in Dublin about 1832, and died in England about 1882.
