Obverse with head of Britannia over crossed trident, standard with names SAUNDERS - MOORE. Reverse showing Victory crowning trophy of weapons over bound captive, QUEBEC TAKEN. The medal was ordered by the Royal Society of Arts to commemorate the capture of the town of Quebec in French Canada during the Seven Years War (1756-1763).
