BHM 1068.
32mm. Unsigned.
Obverse with draped bust of Queen Caroline, reverse with imperial crown above CR, serpent below.
Good Extremely Fine with prooflike surfaces. Rare.
A footnote in BHM states 'Davis & Waters believed this piece to be a pass to a park or garden, but the serpent on the reverse may, perhaps, indicate that it had some connection with the trial of Queen Caroline'.
