40mm. 33.5 grams. Struck in silver. Letter H at bottom of reverse for Heaton.
Obverse showing bust of Victoria, reverse with coat of arms.
This variety of medal is well documented in white metal, bronze and silvered bronze, all of which measure 38mm. However, this specimen is struck in silver and has a raised rim around the whole medal, raising its diameter to 40mm. As such it is unrecorded and presumably very rare.
A few small marks on the edge which do not detract, otherwise Extremely Fine with a matt appearance. Presumably very rare.
