30mm. Bronze.
Unsigned but by C.Emptmeyer.
The official issue to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria in 1897. Somewhat counter-intuitively, the bronze medal is actually less common than the silver issue. The reason for this is that qualifying holders of the earlier 1887 medal were simply awarded a clasp in 1897, rather than a second medal. Therefore, the reported issue of the bronze medal is only 890 pieces.
Extremely Fine and housed in fitted Wyon case.
