Some green within devices, althought this stable, otherwise Extremely Fine. This is an example of the extremely rare first issue, produced by Goetz before he corrected the date of the sinking to May 7th.
The National WWI Museum and Memorail website suggests that Goetz produced around 430 examples of this original first version, in his home. For comparison, the later, common copies were produced to the number of 250,000.
