All medals are housed in their original fitted cases and are generally about as struck. A wonderful set from a clearly very accomplished early photographer.

Rev Henry Bassano Hare (1827-1909) was a prominent late 19th century British clergyman and amateur landscape photographer who was highly active during the 1880s and 1890s. Described by contemporary records as "one of the most successful amateur photographers" in his region, he regularly participated in national competitions and major photographic societies.
