Edinburgh mint. Dated 1557. Obverse with crowned coat of arms with M R flanking, reverse with ornate cross with central cross and crowns in quarters.
Probably About Very Fine in terms of wear but slightly weakly struck. Traces of nice fresh metal under toned surfaces. A scarce little issue.
